Shocking service today in Claws Indoors, Brixham and having tried sorting it out with them but having been met with a rude response, I feel the need to rant!!Our meals were advertised outside and a price displayed, we based our choice on this. But, when we paid the bill we then realised wed been over charged. When we politely pointed this out we were refused a refund because the price had gone up!I suggest that if this business is so desperate for money that they need to con people into coming indoors by advertising false prices outside, they cant be doing very well. Maybe this is why they only take cash, which is also not pointed out to customers before they order. A terrible way to treat people. Maybe they should take a look at the 1967 Misrepresentation Act, as I think theyll find what they are doing is illegal.
Went there yesterday. And old my.... the worse food we have ever eaten. I had a crab sandwich, which comes with old, brown, slimy salad and wet liquid coleslaw. Hubby had prawns (still frozen, not flavour) with a slice of bread and same rank salad. 14.00 for what should have been put in the bin. The place looks amazing shame the food is a health risk.
Lunch of crab, mussels, and oysters was absolutely brilliant. Oysters were so good I had another 6!Normally eat at the kiosk on the quay but it was somewhat chilly Staff friendly, and the menu is comprehensive and good value .It's so good it should be a secret!
