Large site with full range of facilities. Suspect that it could be noisy and busy in high season but we stayed in November when it was quiet. Had a pleasant meal in the club house on Friday night taking advantage of that day's special offer - fish & chips plus a drink for 8. Lots of rabbits for neighbours on site meant that our dog was royally entertained! Good walking routes to and from the SW Coastal Path but the Path itself can be very strenuous, especially towards Kingswear.
We've been here a few times now and we love it there. Great facilities like the swimming pool and children's play area. We prefer the pitches away from the club area as they are quieter and have a much better view of the coast. The grass pitches can be a little slippy if it rains but it's not been a problem for us.Overall we like it there.
Well kept site , all amenities were well looked after. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Recommend
Great site. Great facilities. During there busy time they struggle a bit with quantity of food. A couple of times there wasn't enough of an item on the menu. As well the loo blocks could do with more cleaning in there busier times as towards the end of the day the loos were pretty disgusting!! Other than that staff are friendly, shop is well stocked and site is well located!!!
Site on a steep hill. Plenty of pitches to choose from. Gorgeous views from the highest pitches on the hill. Very clean toilet/shower blocks. Restaurant which gets very busy! Evening entertainment for adults and kids, small shop. Activities for kids in book given on arrival. Baby and adult swimming pool. Baby/ family room with bath although no key available for the length of our stay for closest toilet block. Not enough keys to go around. Laundry facilities for extra cost. Play park, dog walking area and play field on site. Tent camping allowed.
