Called over 250 times this morning between 8am and 9am only to finally get through and be told there were no appointments available.Having a week old daughter I was told a doctor would call me back shortly. Waited four hours for the call where I was then asked why I hadnt attended an appointment at 13:10? An appointment no one had told me about! Finally saw a doctor at 17:40. Appalling service and farcical appointment system. I wish I could say this was a one off but its all to regular an occurrence. Avoid like the plague, even if you have the plague.
Absolute joke of a medical practice, 117 attempted phone calls to get an appointment is fairly standard, because even if you get through at 8 they wont pick up the call. Someone will end up dead because of this place
Call at 8am they say..and then they put the ohone down and u cannot answer and by 8.28 after calling over and over again they tell u sorry no appointments available. I ask if I can see someone on Friday, yes she says..but ohh.. dear...I have to call again..I mean really. Get a new receptionist please, this one will make everyone leave ur surgery as I am thinking about it now.
Someone is going to end up dead with this struggling failing surgery.
The problem for St Lukes is that when you try to get a appointment they set it for two weeks later or if you ask for a doctor they give you a nurse. Some of the doctors are rude and I was called fat by one of these many doctor's, that I'm not going to name. When you go to tell them a problem they listen but do nothing about it like no medince or anything, also doctors can be (most of the time) 20 to 40 minutes late.
