It has such fab views of the bay and is generally a lovely place to visit but we were a bit disappointed on this occassion with the quality of the food; it wasn't quite hot enough, nor quite fitting of description, considering it isn't a cheap place to eat this isn't really acceptable. It was probably an off day; lack of staff perhaps, as usually tip top.
We were muddy walkers not allowed in so had hot drinks on the veranda. Lovely. Good value too. super views.
We were very disappointed with the 7 course Christmas dinner that was served to us on the 25th. The service was slow and the main course and vegetables were just warm. Also the atmosphere could have reflected the occasion better. Sadly we will not be returning next year. (2019).
Loved this hotel. Just got back from an anniversary break there. Really helpful staff. Stunning views. Will definitely be going back.
