Great reception well kept good food enjoyed Paul and Pearl
It was great. Friendly, hard-working owners, very clean, comfortable, and a nice breakfast in the morning. It's a guest house, so as long as you're expecting a converted house, there's nothing to complain about. There's a 10 minute walk to the harbour - suited us perfectly, meant we could go some way to walking off all the extra food we eat when we visit Brixham.
Have stayed here on two occasions and have had a excellent service. good breakfast and good clean rooms each time, Sylvia and Mark are friendly and welcoming hosts, the garden is well kept and nice to sit in and chill. We recommend the Anchorage guest house for anyone.
We have found the anchorage an enchanting place to stay. We have been for a few years now exceptionally clean and well managed. Breakfasts are lovely. Mark and Sylvia lovely hosts very friendly nothing too much trouble. Will be returning again next year. Very dog friendly and accomodating. Like idea of having use of a fridge if required. Ideal location bus stops outside of accomodation. Lovely place to stay.
This b and b is run by the loveliest friendly people imaginable. But, the position is unfortunate, sat by the main traffic light in the junction for the main road in to Brixham. The decor isn't to my taste, with various patterns and animal prints. But, it is clean and tidy, and I cannot fault the hosts. The breakfast is presented beautifully. No greasy breakfast here. A good place, but I do Luke a quieter position, and um not sure if I'd go back.
