Everything our table ordered was delicious, and beautifully, simply presented. Lovely atmosphere, and elegant decor. Staff were very knowledgeable about the fish on offer.
Gorgeous food on a quiet night in January. The four of us all ordered something different and all of us were pleased. The unlimited chips were a nice touch. The only negative is always being told 'it will be busy' by the staff when booking. On a Sunday night in January this is unnecessary as there were only 8 other people there! This is not the first time it has happened....
Lovely and clean, staff friendly, food really good and the fact that we could bring in the dog made my mum and dad really happy. The wait for food was a little disappointing, however, to be fair on the restaurant.....they were full and busy. Would definately eat there again.
Tasty food. Most fish sustainably caught, and locally caught. If you go to the takeaway they'll discuss the sustainability of the food you're ordering if you want to discuss this and it's not busy.The takeaway does a fish Friday once a month. You may have to queue for a bit, but it's worth the wait.In the restaurant they give you a personalised list of what is fresh and available that day.. and I've never seen the same list twice. If it's sunny try to get a balcony seat. But you won't be disappointed if you stay inside. It's lovely. Of course the favorites like cod and haddock are always available. But it's the fresh variety that is astounding, helped by the fact it's next to the harbour and fish market.My favorite part is that everything is available gluten free
By far and away some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. We used the takeaway. We had cod, Calamari , Whiting and a sausage all with chips. All the fish was freshly caught that morning and was absolutely delicious.My daughter needed the toilet so we had to use the restaurant upstairs and it looked like a cracking place to eat overlooking Brixham harbour.I would recommend to anyone.
